Galia Meiri Stawski is a Sagaponack-based artist, who has been making work in various media for more than two decades. Her works in oil are mostly still life and figurative paintings, depicting luscious botanicals and bold portraits. 

 

In recent years, Galia began experimenting with abstraction, using watercolor, acrylic,  pen and ink, to depict lines in constant motion that capture simultaneously both agitation and a sense of calm.
